Self-taught is just a loop
[DRAFT] No syllabus, no teacher — only the loop of try, break, look closer, try again.
[DRAFT — starter article, replace with the real thing.]
Self-taught sounds lonely, like you did it without help. It isn’t. It just means nobody handed me the order to learn things in. The loop is the same one everyone uses: try, break it, look closer, try again.
Breaking things on purpose
The fastest way I’ve found to understand something is to break it and watch what falls out. An engine, a layout, a prompt — take it apart with a goal, not just curiosity, and put it back changed.
The teacher is the work
There was no curriculum for any of this. The work itself kept telling me what I didn’t know yet. Still does.
